Other than the extra charge, which seems to be legit the experience was fine, I do have PC status but I didn't get any "automatic" upgrade, I also didn't bother asking for one as I had no need for it, and bigger car means bigger deductibles.
I used FB Plat CDP, which usually gives 15% off, but in this case only 5%.
