I very much doubt that T4 is going to accept T1/2/3 boarding passes due to being completely sterile. They will unnecessarily be clearing you through security (as you'd have to reclear at the gate again before departing) + having to bus you back from T4. If it's like some European airports e.g. Heathrow T5 it will be difficult to even get back into the arrivals/transit stream once in the departure hall

T4 is very much designed for O&D traffic - hence the choice of airlines - either mainly local traffic or limited in-line connections for someone like Air Asia
