No such people. Maybe you're thinking of Premier Access? As long as you get a UA employee agent, it shouldn't matter.
Just as a aside, I'm wondering if there's a higher ratio of UA employee agents relative to passengers at the regular check-in vs the Premier side, just because there might be more befuddled travelers over there. I don't know if that's fact, but I've noticed that at a few airports.
