Well, I guess finally the AA/CX code-share agreement will do some benefits in this regard.

Has anyone tried to credit AA coded CX flights into AS account? I've been on four such flights and on the boarding passes the flights said CX8** and on the bottom of the boarding pass it said "SOLD AS AA6***".

Judging from that, if I sent that into AS, would they credit my AS account for the AA coded flights (even it said CX on the top, and sold as AA on the bottom). Elite qualifying is very important to me, so if I cannot claim elite qualifying miles on a FFP, I won't bother putting the credit into that account.
