My question is how busy is the airport at that time? What happens if i miss my connection? If I miss my connection can i suggest flights to get me home?

Ideally Id like to be on DXB-JFK on an 380 because J is 10000x better, get some lounge time, and get put on B6 from JFK-FLL. With such short connection is it worth running from gate to gate or should I just book myself a seat in the back of the cabin and slowly walk toward my gate? If i make it great if I miss it, greater.

Anyone done anything like this before?
I would be very careful about employing that strategy. We had a report very recently of someone who missed their connection to GLA and EK made the pax fork out for a new flight as according to them, the pax should have made the connection despite the previous flight being delayed, also claiming other pax from the same inbound flight had made the connection.
