Since writing the opening part of this report, I noticed the other day that AA have now closed their separate First Class check-in facility at LHR, and are using desks in Zone B in the main building for Priority check-in. Was it something I said?

Thanks for the comments cmd320, and for the confirmation on the ovens.

Thanks popoemt. The main ticket for this trip was DUB-LHR-JFK-LAX return; it's a lot cheaper to start premium tickets in a continental European country than in the UK. The LHR-DUB and DUB-LHR sectors wrapping around the trip at the start and end are the positioning flights, and are a separate (paid) booking. LAX-YVR was a reward flight, and YVR-LAX a separate paid booking.

Thanks JMurray; this report narrates a trip from April, so you probably had the same menu in May.
