Not sure which hotel yet - there are 3 of us arriving in MRS at different times, so the thought was an airport hotel-seems like a bit of distance from airport to 'downtown.' We actually will be headed to Manosque (but only for a day for our meeting).
Unfortunately didn't really plan any time in the itinerary for sightseeing.
Well, it's worth getting out of town into the country, if you find yourself with any time.
It's also worth waking up early in the morning for a sunrise walk around the old harbor in Marseille. The multi-generation fishermen come into port with fresh tuna, etc.
