Apologies for the slightly daft questions, but have got myself confused on the boards with so much other info on this, and still don't get my exact query answered. I'm looking to fly to Hong Kong and wanted to know if I didn't go BA, but booked a oneworld airline,
- do I get the same BAEC tier points and avios awarded as if on BA
- can I do an Avios upgrade (space allowing) to next class? And how?
- and dumbest query of all possibly! would this flight appear on my BA app as it has my BAEC number on booking?

If looking to maximise tier points (in club class) on a oneworld airline, what's the best route and airline to use to HK?
