I'm often in EDI at that hour, and I would be there without checked luggage. I aim to arrive at the (usually long-term) car park 1 hour before departure, knowing this gives me just over 20 minutes contingency for the Bypass being up the creek or a very long wait for the carpark bus. Usually a bus comes within 5 minutes, I'm at the airport 50 minutes before departure, and I end up with 25 minutes in the lounge. Fast track at EDI is reliably 5 minutes, just watch out for the location, on the far left side when arriving from the check-in desks, sometimes the fire door is shut so it doesn't look obvious, but it is always open.

If you are checking in luggage, an extra 10 minutes would cover it.

Incidentally, to help calibrate this, at ABZ I would arrive perhaps 5 or 10 minutes earlier on a Monday morning since Security there can be a bit backed up.
