This was reported in the news a couple of days ago.

I don't think it would be that easy to implement at the airport at all - bar staff expected to check boarding passes and then know all of the affected airports.

"Where are you going? Is that in the Ballywotsits?"

And as for banning lounge access, that should make for some interesting DYKWIA moments.

Anyway, we won't be in the EU much longer, so they can whistle .
