You may be right, but the area in front of the hotel was jammed with parked cars and I could not even get to valet area. I could not park and walk over. There was a narrow lane through the mass of parked cars.
This hotel has mandatory self park fees and a controlled access lot. I must use my room key to get in and out of the lot. I had bought a spot that they gave away. They let people that were not registered guests and did not pay for space, to take all of the spots.
I would have preferred that they look at their registrations, know how many were staying and paying for parking, and reserved part of the lot for us. They did not do this. Furthermore, this event was in the evening and started to let out at 10:30. The crowds were there at the precise time that hotel guests would most likely need the service for which they paid.
