FYI, DL seems to have relaxed the maximum permitted mileage on awards to Australia. I'm seeing fairly good availability to SYD this summer in Delta One at 110K each-way including from east coast origins. Not really seeing anything at that level beyond Sep 6th. Also, with new DCA-LAX flight, you can now do it with one stop (well, outbound at least -- timing doesn't work on return).
