When is the best time to buy revenue ticket?
Very broad defined question, let me clarify here:

My wife invited heir niece to visit us in Singapore. Her family lives in Reno.

Considering that it is her first overseas trip (she is 17) it does not matter which airline she flies, but her family is very price sensitive.

The obvious routing is RNO-SFO and then to Singapore. Question is, how far in advance ticket needs to be purchased? Plan is to come July-August of next year.
