In general I'd have to agree with Dave_C about Brussels. Got stuck there for 3 days and we had seen and done everything there was to see and do after less than 1 day. Only the moules et frites saved us. It's a seriously overrated destination.

However, HobokenFlyer needs to reconsider Memphis, which he admits he hasn't even visited. It's not a country music town, it's a blues/rock city. Tons of nightlife. Lots of artsy stuff to do and great food, too.
Memphis doesn't belong anywhere near this list.
Brussels is where many Amsterdam clubbers go for a good dance party, so you KNOW it rocks!
Even Salt lake city has... Well it has... There's the... Umm... Never mind.
