$70 per day "fee" at a NYC RI?
Made a few reservations at the RI below and caught in tiny print a $70 per day "fee" on the reservation screen:

Additional Charges
Fee: 70 USD daily
Changes in taxes or fees implemented after booking will affect the total room price.

As well as my emailed confirmation:

Additional Charges
Using your points will cover your room charge and tax. Additional service charges and resort fees will be applied where applicable.
Fee: 70 USD daily

Doesn't matter points or cash. Gotta be a programming mistake, correct? Did email Marriott Corp but no response after a day, can't imagine the front desk would know what I'm talking about without a lengthy conversation... Will call if no response soon so don't bash me.
