I have found them very hot on this in long haul Y or W recently. Both crew and CSM/CSD bothering to know my name and on a recent JFK flight a basically constant flow of champagne after I'd accepted the first glass.

On the other hand, nothing aside from the standard 'welcome back, let me know if you need anything' when in J.

For me, that's actually a pretty good compromise, there's not really much extra I need or want in J so happy with a brief 'hi' if they have time whereas the extra thought to bring me glass of something nice in Y or W is actually quite welcome.
