Last time I was in Y, the GCH in the next seat received the star treatment, a polite thank you for flying with BA and an offer of a drink etc. She then walked away, leaving me (also Gold) a bit confused. I asked the guy if he was regular on this route, but it was his first time to the country, so never been on the route before. Left me feeling underwhelmed.
