Interesting perspectives.

For me - 2x economy seats (ie: a shadow) is more valuable than 1x PE seat.
Therefore, economy is always more attractive.

The times I've purchased PE seats has been for strategic reasons, eg; upgrades or dirt-cheap prices

If PE was more of a business-lite, then it would be more enticing.
