There is I agree, but it's not just about weddings though right? If you screw up in business then the same three rules should apply. Taking months to sort it out isn't good enough and if the drive was there to change the approach to customer complaints etc. then it could be done, or at least, improved.

In this particular case I don't think a 500 EUR voucher is anywhere near adequate compensation. If it were me I would be going after the interest lost whilst they had the money plus a significant cash compensation award plus the legal fees as this would have been in court much earlier.

When BA get it right they get it really right, when they get it wrong they seem to have some in built masochistic desire to get it even more wrong.
