I've been Plat for 3 or 4 years and there is ZERO difference in treatment from someone who applied yesterday.
We have heard the call for better recognition of our Elite members on property and that is why this summer we are rolling out Elite Welcome gifts for our Elite Members at all of our hotels.
The program has already been rolled out for our Comfort Suites, Comfort Inn, Clarion, Sleep, Quality, and Mainstay hotels in the US! Econo Lodge, Rodeway, Suburban, and Ascend hotels will be rolled out August 1st.
