so i went on CBP website and was actually able to email them. this is part of the response i got:

" Please note that processing times vary by applicant, but on average you can expect your application to be processed for Global Entry and FAST within 1-2 weeks, and SENTRI and NEXUS 3-5 months. This includes vehicle enrollments. "

so i guess 4 months is within that time frame.. stil, that's long
