As of this time I can't find a press release on the Curio Collection's Media site announcing its opening, but I did find an article in the Qatar Tribune (fittingly since the property's owner is the Al Rayyan Tourism Investment Company (ARTIC): ARTIC opens newly renovated Aleph Rome Hotel

Also, I looked on FT for a dedicated thread for this property prior to its renovation, when it was a Boscolo property, but didn't come up with anything. (Note: when looking at the current reviews for this hotel on TripAdvisor, Expedia, etc keep in mind that those reviews were written prior or during the renovations).

I've been looking at its rates and points redemption possibilities, and see no standard room rewards available - even though Hilton in the Accommodations page lists an "entry level room" category called the "DOUBLE CLASSIC ROOM". Problem is when you "check availability" for that room type there is none available. At least I haven't found any.
