This is not an easy question --
what does 25,000 miles and $500 mean to you -- is it a significant amount or something you would commonly pay for ... a hotel night?
The 25,000 and $500 is equivalent to 2 domestic roundtrips.
Worth is very subjective to the individual and their circumstances.
A lie flat seat will make for a better night's sleep and you will be more functional sooner after the flight. The meal will be typical of a $25-$40 meal you can get a decent but certainty not a high end restaurant. And you will have more personal space.
Also, unless you see R upgrade space, you will be waitlisted with no certainty of receiving the upgrade.
I know some planes have the new Polaris business class but I'm not sure if my plane will have it.
If the flight is in the next 6+ months, it is unlikely that flight will have the Polaris seat but it will have a lie flat seat.
