The ongoing shrinkage and cheapening of the PTR amenities over the years has also been an embarrassment.
I've noticed on a couple recent stays they haven't replenished the amenities either. I stayed at the Waldorf in London last week and housekeeping didn't replenish the supplies any of the days and I had to ask for more shower gel and shampoo from a maid one morning. If a product has been open housekeeping should leave a container of that product on the sink as well as leaving the partially used product. If someone doesn't need it and it's unopened they aren't out anything and if the guest needs it is there
