I've heard from Customer Service today and you are correct. I will get the 1000 point bonus that was shown in my account plus the 500 point bonus that was added manually. My account has been retroactively set to MVP and points added for the first three spends to bring them to that level.

Once the points are shown in Mileage Plus Dining, how long does it take for them to actually show in my Alaska Airlines account?
