An inventive but not too precious menu (two different tasting menus and al a carte as well), a very engaged and helpful sommeiller and efficient but not stuffy service.

Probably one of the best meals I've had at a starred restaurant in Rome.
I was quite disappointed with my meal at Il Pagliaccio. Seemed like they were just going through the motions on the night I was there. I had the full tasting menu and I left very, very hungry, which almost never happens to me. Just a bad energy night.

As to Rome, I ate at Imago in May and it was a tremendous dinner, even more impressive than the meal I had at La Pergola.
