I have a home in the US but is working a long-term contract in Europe.

Are there any benefits with changing my "home" address with BA from US to Europe? If so, does it matter which country?

I thought I read somewhere that Germany would give some advantage (if so what?). My contract is in Sweden, but I fly out of Denmark.

I might be assigned to other European countries in the future, who knows.
