I merged 3 AA Advantaahe accounts approx. 8 mths ago. Once the merger was completed I had an additional 80,000 miles - however, it seems AA merged an additional 4th account, same name as mine, different country and it was included in the additional 80,000 miles (other person was 60,000 miles)
I had these extra miles for approx. 5 mths - it came to my attention recently that they were NOT my miles because AA withdrew the points and once I called to inquire what happened was advised of their error.
Well unfortunaetly I was planning on using those points for a family trip.
AA will not compensate me in any way for their error and inconvenience
What can I do?
