I have read through this entire thread as well as the wiki so perhaps I'm just dense, but I'm still a bit fuzzy on the authorized user benefits of this cards.

I realize the authorized user is not a full Admiral's Club membership, but it seems there is some evidence that authorized users are able to access Admiral's Clubs even if flying an airline other than AA. Is my understanding correct on this point? (I find this interesting because using AC's when flying other airlines has always been one defining characteristic of full membership)

But, it appears that the authorized user would not be able to access Alaska Board rooms, even if flying AA or AS, when traveling without the primary cardholder. Is this interpretation also correct?

Regards
