Any Krabi regulars out there? Still undecided on hotels. Got 3 nights at Rayavadee, and need to book another three. The RC is one option, but somewhat obscenely expensive.

The next category of hotels seems to include Nakamanda, Tubkaak, Amari Vogue, Sofitel and Dusit Thani. Any recommendations - based on beach quality (in July), avoiding crowds/ families/ poorly behaved tourists, accessibility to non-resort food and massage options?

Would it make sense trying to go down to Ko Lanta for 3 days instead?
