I'm a train buff; the TRANS SIBERIAN RAILWAY has always fascinated me. There are (expensive) tours, but now doing this as a solo passenger is possible (though probably NOT easy).
Taking a branch-off to TUNGUSKA is on my "list": in 1908 a massive explosion occurred (lots of theories have tried to explain it).
