You should have been referring to the posts that you and your disaffected Marriott malcontents have graced in the 14 separate links that I have provided above, which concerns the very same issue that has constantly bedeviled this board for some time now -- suite upgrades, or the lack thereof, at Marriott properties. Unfortunately, I doubt that you have the capacity to notice the irony in that.

In addition, I doubt that you have the capacity to notice that thequote that you attribute to Socrates no longer exists, as he has edited that quote out and replaced it with the following:

Be my guest and check it out for yourself, if you don't believe me. It is there in black and white.

Therefore, we now have a situation wherein the individual upon whom you had hoped and believed was initially supporting your call for more civility, apparently may have not meant to have done anything like that, as his editing of his statement should make clear even to you.

Moreover, the edited quote, as it now stands, makes amply clear that far from fixing any blame for the tone of this thread and others like it, either explicitly or implicitly, Socrates' now only states that the question of suite upgrades has all been discussed before.

Furthermore, this comment neatly dovetails with my post that contains 14 links to threads discussing this very same issue of suite upgrades that has been discussed ad nauseum, and as such, it lends clear cut support for my position in this disagreement with you Ohmark.

After all, Ohmark, RTHIB, CPRich and any others who wish to constantly remind us of the "unfairness of not getting a suite U/G at Marriott as a Platinum with 100 Plus nights under your belt whereas your contemporaries at Hilton and SPG are able to get a suite U/G," one would have no heated discussions on this issue if this issue were not constantly brought up in a myriad of disguises, all to remind us of your disaffection with Marriott.

Indeed, this should serve as a lesson for you Ohmark, and the rest of you who incessantly innundate us with your constant whining about the lack of suite upgrades at Marriott properties.

In addition, it should also be clear, that what one might state in public because one may wish to be diplomatic or remain neutral in some conflict, does not always comport with what one indicates in private correspondence.

I think I will just leave it at that.
