Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I'm at the airport right now and need a quick answer. I'm flying from Amman, Jordan to JFK on one ticket and then have a separate delta ticket to tampa with a three hour layover. When I checked in at Amman I mentioned to them that I was connecting on a delta flight and they were able to tag my bags all the way through! However I'm landing in terminal 4 and the delta flight departs from terminal 2. Once I pass customs in terminal 4, can I simply drop the bag off there or should I take it with me to terminal 2 and go the delta ticketing window? Thanks in advance
As long as it's tagged, can drop at T4 DL drop off. T4 is mostly DL and VS operations. The bulk of flights for DL are from T4. However i thought RJ flew through T8 or 7 along with AA, AY, BA, IB, other OW airlines. In that case there's no DL bag drop at T7/8 and you must take over to T2.
