So our family bought roundtrip tickets from MCI - FOC on JustFly.com.

Outgoing portion: MCI to SEA to PVG (change airport to SHA) SHA to FOC.
Return portion is FOC to PEK to SEA to MCI.

When we arrived in Shanghai, we had to hop on a different, domestic Chinese airline (Juneyao Air) to go to Fuzhou and get another boarding pass. The agent there did not give us any boarding pass since they said that whomever purchased the ticket (JustFly.com) had sent some kind of incorrect ticket/reservation confirmation number and it didn't match any of our passport or visa numbers.

We were stuck in Shanghai and were told that the only way to get to Fuzhou was to buy our own separate ticket in China to go to Fuzhou. Which is what we did.

When we were coming back to the US, at the airport in Fuzhou they said that the rest of our reservation was cancelled since we did not take the last leg from Shanghai to Fuzhou. We had to then buy tickets that day to come back to the US...which cost us double what we paid for the entire roundtrip ticket.
Just called JustFly.com now to discuss any possibility of refund (we have receipts in China of flights we bought) and they flat out refused. They said that 1) any missed leg causes rest of the roundtrip to be cancelled....and 2) that if the confirmation # was wrong then we wouldn't have been able to even start our journey. (which is also obviously incorrect as we did make it out of the US). They also claimed maybe it was a Visa issue...which also is incorrect since we legally left and entered China which would mean valid Visas.

Absolutely nothing like this has ever happened in my 20 years of going back and forth between China and USA with other discount 3rd party websites.

I'm trying to look to see if there's any other recourse to recoup our money back but my hope is not high.....

Moral of the story is this; DO NOT BOOK WITH JUSTFLY

I just looked up their BBB ratings and it is horrible along with other online reviews. Next time I'll be MUCH more careful about just booking the cheapest fare.....

edit: WOW...just saw this forum has its own thread on JustFly.com....well this is just terrible. Also mods if appropriate can merge this to that thread but otherwise I want to get the word out to NEVER buy from this company.
