And the answer so far is ----- neither, at least not yet.

For your entertainment, this is what has happened.
  1. I deliberately spent more than $25 but less than $30 to see if it would trigger the 1500 point bonus. Nothing happened.
  2. I then went to a restaurant I actually like and spent more than $30, thus qualifying for the 1000 point bonus. Nothing has happened.
  3. I wrote to customer service for this company. I forwarded the email saying I was targeted for the 1500 point bonus and immediate MVP status. Several days went by and I got a note saying they would research this.
  4. Today, I received a bonus - not 1500 points, not 1000 points, but 500 points. I had 3 dines, so perhaps this is the bonus of which sdsearch posted.
