I've just trawled through the Crew Hotels list on the BA Intranet and there's no mention of any Travelodge whatsoever. Not in the UK or elsewhere, and the page is very much updated (obviously saying which hotel is used in which destination is a big no-no so please don't ask, even though some colleagues are smart enough to tag themselves on social media once they're in the crew hotel...).

Whoever said this to the OP must also be the driving force behind Galley FM...
