I have no idea about O/D or connecting traffic, but I'm thinking (with no particular reason or priority) that PIT/CMH/BDL/BHM are about the only sizeable cities left that would require the range of a 737 (I have my doubts that PVD/ALB/SYR/ROC/BUF/DAY could support one daily trip, never mind two in competition) ... when you get back into the range of the E75/CR7/CR9, COS might also be in the equation
creative scheduling (e.g., an early morning inbound turn, from a late afternoon -- similar to what's been announced for MKE -- or redeye eastbound) might help with the infrastructure issues
A friend of mine who's a gate agent at CMH feels SEA nonstops are a matter of time- his hunch is "no more than two years".
My only question is does AS or possibly F9 step up first?
