Something here doesn't pass the sniff test. I wonder if the FA (or is it GA?) misunderstood her complaint as a request for an open seat. She claims she didn't push the issue, which I understand. And if they messed up the BP scan, and the kids age is close enough to be interpreted as a lap child, I can see how this snowballed into a mess.

The USA Today story claims the standby BP was 24A, which certainly muddies the water. Wonder why he ended up in the middle?
