just to cap this off, I checked today and I'm now Presidents Circle, so worked out very nicely.

im mid way through a long rental and paying $20/day for the upgrade which was a pres circle free choice. So I'm going to head in and see if I can either turn it in and 'reselect' it for fee or get the whole thing waived.
