It is such a shame that Delta pours such crappy stuff before departure. I know Delta is hardly alone in using this approach, so the same comment applies to other airlines as well, though I feel like Delta particularly stands out since they're making the effort to pour a "better than you might expect this sort of airline to serve" bubbly in the air, but presumably many people never try it because the stuff on the ground was so bad and they don't realize something different will be served in the air.
