The funny thing is that at this place, if you did any more than round up, they might come find you outside because you forgot your change. But yeah for anyone following this thread, tipping at restaurants in Florence is not expected. Rounding up for a waiter that helped with language barrier and such is fine, just don't overdo it.

Panzanella toscana is usually served as primo (or sometimes antipasto). The biggest problem is when they use Florentine bread, which is traditionally unsalted and objectively terrible
