Flying only the return leg of a two way booking?

Hi all,

I booked a DUB - EDI return flight for next month only to discover that the DUB - EDI time doesn't work for me. So, I booked another one way DUB - EDI flight for later that day. Question is, will I have any issues flying the return leg of the original booking even though I won't use the outbound leg? Possibly not relevant to a short haul booking but thought I'd ask all the same.

Thanks in advance
