If you do it yourself on finnair.com you can only do it in blocks of 5k tier points, ie OP needs to get 10k tier.
Does anyone know if CS can convert points at another blocksize? If so, it might be worth doing it, despite the double fee (20€ vs 10€)
Approximately 2 years ago, they asked me to spend an additional 15k points in order to get my last missing 170 points to reach gold. According to CS, changing in any smaller block (or rounding up the last remaining points) wasn't possible. But of course this was some while ago, and I kind of sensed that the fact that my tracking period wasn't quite in the end yet at that time was one of the reasons for the lack of flexibility.
Perhaps asking CS politely could do the trick for the missing 200 points. At least it's worth trying!
