could it be worth sending an email to Finnair plus and ask them if its ok to only convert 5000 tier points and leave the 200 as it is. 200 is a neglectible number.

In Flyingblue the first year I reached 39200, so 800 to short. They gave gold.
When I changed alliance, I used all award points and actually got a negative balance, -1200 award miles.

So I guess sometimes frequent flyer programs can be nice too
