Incidentally, I did play the honey moon trick on our return from Hawaii. I asked at LAX and got told "well, you are at the top of the plane". My advice to my best mate getting married this year, was exactly as posters have said - don't bother. While it can work in hotels, I can't see it being successful on a BA flight.
