As promised, a brief report on the Boca Beach Club:
Check-in was fine. I saw no option for self-parking and valet is $40/day! Our room was on the small side, with a view of the ocean, but it wasn't oceanfront.
The restaurants were good. We ate at the seafood place at the Club the first night and at Blue, at the Boca Raton Resort the second. Service and food at both restaurants was what I'd expect from restaurants in that price range (entrees $20-$40). We had the brunch both days at the Club (same as the seafood place) as it was included in our rate.
Service was good at the pool and at the beach. On the beach, you can get a lounge chair at no charge (set up wherever you like) but it's $30 to rent an umbrella for the day.
Bottom line: It's really nice. But really expensive.
