I understood that it's not poor IT as suggested, but from a practical point of view all pax on the booking must be on the same fare bucket so that they are all subject to the same T&Cs. Imagine trying to expkain that 3 of the 4 pax booked can change for a fee of £300 while the other has an inflexible ticket. Or the arguments over which passenger should have been assigned which bucket?
