The possibly good news for you is, when the supposed fares get weird after a re-ticketing, they usually (always?) compute your EQD based on distance using the second
Special Fares table. You can do the math for that, and maybe find that that change works to your favor.
And if you don't gain from that, or if your EQD is calculated using some fare other than the "$105" paid (unlikely), it's easy to call and sort it out.
Ah yes. You are so right!! I need to watch the EQD / RDMs column carefully when i take the flights .
They sure make it pretty hard for the paying pax!!
