I did the reverse last night SIN-ARN via DME. As others have said they will hang suit and toothpaste, razors etc available in a drawer in the toilets.
The meal from DME to ARN was a snack really - this morning it was a chicken/cheese hot sandwich or a salmon salad (which looked more substantial) - served on a tray with no table cloth etc. Flight time was just short of 2 hours. Presume it will be similar in the reverse direction.
With regard to the transfer in DME. I'd describe this as bureaucratic! You have to de-plane and depending on load I'd try and exit the plane pretty quick. At the top of the airbridge there is a member of staff handing out plastic 'transit' cards. You then head towards passport control but just before head up an escalator to the right (follow transit/transfer signs).
Then immediately turn left at the top of the escalator where there was a lady waiting for SQ premium pax (not sure if it was the same for non-status). She then checked boarding pass and passport before transcribing some details onto a lounge invite and also updating her sheet. She stamped my boarding pass with something to demonstrate I passed the test and gave me a lounge invite.
Once she is happy you take a couple of steps forward into the security area. There is a member of staff at the entrance who again will check your boarding pass, passport and transit plastic card, making a few notes on her list. Once they are happy you move forward 3 metres to the scanner. Normal story of liquids out/laptops etc. Then bags go through and you go into a full body scanner. Once through that you get another 2 metres before your passport, boarding pass, and lounge invite are scrutinised by more staff again. Working in a pair they focused on the passport and again transcribed some details onto a sheet, few more stamps on the boarding pass and you can then access the terminal.
I say try and be off the plane quick as despite being first off that process took quite a few minutes to get through and I can imagine that being at the back of a full J cabin might take a while to be processed with all the manual transcribing and writing of lounge invites!
Once in the terminal, hang a left up an escalator following signs for the Airport Business Lounge and it is to the right after the cafe. Big space with good light at the end overlooking the tarmac. Coffee machine worked fine and there was small selection of cold drinks and I think there was wine out as well. Food selection was not to my taste - there appeared to be a wide selection including hot items such as soup and some weird doughnut looking items labelled 'Pie with cabbage'. After about an hour they called the flight to re-board. Quite an easy process back down the escalator to the main part of the terminal then 5 minute walk back to the gate where there was a separate business class gate/queue thought not immediately obvious.
Note that you need to take all hand luggage etc off the plane during the stopover as plane cleaned and items found taken off.
