US does already offer SEA-PIT nonstops, the only carrier to do so, so UA has no incentive to duplicate that route.

I can't imagine AS opening SEA-ORD because UA and AA have that route so saturated, plus WN offers SEA-MDW. AS does ORD-ANC instead. The whole AS expansion strategy is to tweak the majors but not butt them in the stomach.
